Self Definition

I am fragile
But I am not delicate
I can be broken quite easily
But I will tough that shit out
Proudly displaying my damaged self
For the whole wide eyed world to see

I am sensitive
But I am not quiet
I will talk loudly and openly
Projecting my opinions and thoughts
Into the ears of those
Who step over my thin
But concrete
Line of boundaries

I am tired and spent
But I am not easily brought down
I will take every crashing wave that this sea of life has for me
And I will tread these waters
With every ounce of strength that I have
Because I will not
I will not drown in these troubles


I am not my struggles
My trials and tribulations

I am the product of my dedication to succeed
Despite the obstacles that have been presented to me

I am my success
I am my courage
I am my ambition
I am my drive
