Perhaps

My feelings for you

Are like a pebble in your shoe

As you walk along my trails

Surveying all that is

Drinking in the sunlight

Picking my flowers

And walking over my mossy paths 

Blazing your own trails 

In the woods of my being

And how I feel

Is just a nuisance 

A bother

Keeping you from fully enjoying 

The exploration 

Of the beauty I have to offer

And the resources you seek

I am sorry 

That I annoy you with my heart

It’s just that

A little piece of me

Wants to be

Everywhere

And anywhere 

With you
